DR. CHARLTON R. VINCENT has been an OB-GYN specialist practicing in Laurel, Mississippi since 1958. He graduated from the LSU School of Medicine, interning at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La. His residency was completed in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1958. Dr. Vincent now limits his practice to the fields of Gynecology and Menopausal Medicine. He has been using hormone pellet therapy for 18 years having studied that treatment under the late Dr. Robert Greenblatt in Augusta, Georgia.

Dr. Vincent was one of five physicians in the USA selected to complete a study of the effectiveness of hormone pellet therapy for the FDA and Bartor Pharmacal. His professional memberships include the American College of OB/GYN, MSMA, American College of Surgeons and the North American Menopause Society. In 1976, Dr. Vincent was appointed Clinical Professor of Gynecology at LSU.

Hormone pellets in combination of Estradiol and Testopel pellets are inserted in the fatty tissue of the buttocks. They are time released and dissolve slowly over a period of six months, thereby furnishing the body with a steady supply of hormones. Since pellets dissolve completely in the tissue, no removal procedure is necessary
